User Type
Indicate here whether you are a current subscriber or not.  As a subscriber, either paid or trial, you will need to enter a current username and password for access to the MasterDATACSV composite /breadth datafiles.  If you are not a current subscriber, you will still be able to download up to date datafiles for the Dow Jones Industrial Average (no username or password required).  Be certain to indicate here that your User Type is "Lite (no Subscription)" if you wish to download files as a non-subscriber.

MasterDATACSV Web Site Log In Information
Both MasterdataCSV and MasterDATA Composite Plug-in subscribers download from the same site, masterdatacsv.com.  Make sure to enter both your user name and password exactly as when you subscribed.  Case is important.  A capital "A" is different than a lower case "a".  If entered incorrectly, you will not receive an error message, but the files you download will contain only the HTML code of our web site error page, not the historical composite breadth data.

Automated Downloads
Please do not change this setting unless so instructed by MasterDATA support.

Files Paths
We strongly recommend leaving the File Paths setting unchanged.

"Download Complete" Pop-up Message
Selecting "Yes" will cause a pop-up message to appear when a download is completed.  This message is particularly reassuring when MasterDATAlink is automated.  When run by Windows Task Scheduler the program runs entirely in the background and this message is an easy way to confirm that a download has completed, particularly when first starting to use the program.  After you are confident that downloads are occurring properly and on schedule, you can always turn this feature off.  Frankly, we leave ours on.

System Messages
Selecting "Yes" will allow a pop-up message to appear at the end of a download if and when there is important information to convey to you.  Content might include current data status (i.e. not current, etc.), a program revision is available for download and similar program related items.  If the "Download Complete" Pop-up Message (above) is enabled, you will receive only one all inclusive pop-up message.  If more information is available, clicking on "yes" in the pop-up window will link you to a web site page with more information.
